A container for settings only.
Here is the single stored record that sits outside Jelly Jars.
What goes in the container
The necessary decision and an optional motion value share one local key. A timestamp lets the page judge its age. No jar contents, selected sweets or move histories are saved there.
What optional really means
Permission is about remembering display preferences on later visits. Choosing Necessary only does not lock any jars or remove Undo. It also does not permit advertising or analytics tags, which are not embedded on the site.
When the container is refreshed
A stored decision may be reused for at most one year on page load. The browser can remove it earlier. The rule concerns the interface choice, not a retained puzzle account.
Emptying the right container
Open the settings to revise permission or forget the saved key below. Clearing browser data cannot withdraw mail already sent through a mail provider. Jelly Jars itself resets on reload regardless of the stored setting.
A look inside your browser settings.
The saved consent is accepted for up to one year; its age is checked when the page loads.
